INT. DECEMBER 2020

Endings

December is the final month of the year, the final month of the final quarter of the year, and also the beginning of a new season—winter. It’s a festive month filled with holiday cheer and spirit. This year might be a different family and friends gathering due to Covid, but I hope that doesn’t stop you from celebrating. Let’s face it, we all deserve some holiday cheer and spirits to toast the closing of the year of uncertainty we were survivors of!

Shifts

Cosmically, a major event will shift our consciousness and bring in new energy. The Great Conjunction happens between Jupiter and Saturn on the 21st, coinciding with the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year, which symbolizes return to the light.

A conjunction is when two planets have the same right ascension or celestial longitude—in lament terms, it’s when two planets are in close proximity of each other. The convergence of two of the universe’s biggest planets is a major phenomena. It’s a rare event that happens once every two decades.

Jupiter is the planet of innovation, expansion, luck, and ideology (in 1623, the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction occurred in the wake of the invention of the telescope), while Saturn is the planet of systems and structure. This event also takes place as we usher in the Age of Aquarius (hey! My zodiac sign!), the humanitarian of the zodiac (also rules revolution). Think in terms of innovative ideologies and the break down of old systems or structures as we’ve come to know/experience.

There are no coincidences, only synchronicity.

There is a shift happening and I believe 2020 had to be the catalyst for that shift to begin. A shift in mindset, a shift in perspective, a shift in consciousness; what we are no longer willing to tolerate in our lives, in our jobs and businesses, and in the world.

Clear Vision

My January blog post was entitled “2020 Vision.” Having clear vision on goal setting. The irony as we end the year, it’s become apparent that that 2020 vision seems now to be about clarity. Getting clear and staying focused on our wants, needs, desires; the things we’ve yet to accomplish. The Winter Solstice represents planting seeds (setting goals and intentions) to harvest come spring; as within, so without. It’s a time to pause and reflect.

If you haven’t begun setting your goals for 2021 you should begin that now! Thoughts become things. Set them now so that you will have a blueprint of the direction in which you want to take your life. Set the goal then execute.

Dream big, dream bold!

Wishing you all the happiest and healthiest of holidays! Take a pause. Inhale, exhale. We made it!
